Discours de Klaod An Duigou, porte-parole de la CARB, lors de la Marche des Libertés Bretonnes 2003
Nous sommes rassemblés ici, à l’occasion de cette Marche des Libertés Bretonnes, devant le palais de la justice française.
Cette justice française qui vient de refuser hier, une fois de plus, la remise en liberté de prisonniers politiques bretons, Kristian Georgeault, Paskal Laizé et Gaël Roblin. Tous trois vont bientôt (d’ici trois semaines) atteindre les quarante et un mois de détention "provisoire". La décision concernant Jérôme Bouthier, qui atteindra lui, les deux ans de détention "provisoire" à la fin de ce mois, sera rendue après-demain lundi. Il n’y a aucune raison objective de penser qu’elle puisse être satisfaisante.
Mardi prochain, c’est normalement au tour de Stefan Philippe, bientôt quarante et un mois de détention "provisoire" lui aussi, et d’Alain Solé de voir leur demande de mise en liberté examinées par la Chambre de l’Instruction de la Cour d’Appel de Paris. Là encore, nous savons qu’il n’y a rien à attendre, sinon leur maintien en détention. Alain Solé, arrêté le 1er octobre 1999 par la police politique française D.N.A.T., va donc "boucler", c’est vraiment le terme qui convient, sa quatrième année de détention "provisoire".
Le procès de l’affaire de Plévin est encore repoussé : l’an dernier, un militant basque qui serait impliqué dans cette procédure a été arrêté.
Le procès du dossier "Attentats 1993-2000" serait prévu pour février 2004. Ce dossier comprend la magique, tragique et toujours très mystérieuse "Affaire de Quévert" qui servira de prétexte pour infliger des condamnations particulièrement lourdes, nous devons nous y attendre et nous devons donc déjà nous y préparer.
C’est pourquoi nous manifesterons encore ici l’an prochain, dans deux ans, dans cinq ans, pour exiger la libération des prisonniers politiques bretons.
We are gathered here, on the occasion of this March for Breton Freedoms, in front of the French Law Courts.
This French law who refused yesterday, once more, the release of Breton political prisoners Kristian Georgeault, Paskal Laizé and Gaël Roblin. The three of them will soon (within three weeks) have spent forty-one months in “provisional” detention. As regards Jérôme Bouthier, who will have spent two years in “provisional” detention at the end of this month, the decision will be pronounced the day after tomorrow. There is no objective reason to think that this decision will be satisfying in any way.
Next Tuesday, it should be the turn of Stefan Philippe, also reaching nearly forty-one months in “provisional” detention, and Alain Solé to have their request for release examined by the examining Chamber of the appeals Court of Paris. In this case again, we know that the only decision we can expect from this Court is that they should remain in jail. Alain Solé, arrested on 1st October 1999 by the French political police DNAT (Division Nationale AntiTerroriste = National Anti Terrorist Division) will therefore get through with his fourth year in “provisional” detention.
The trial regarding the affair of Plévin is once more postponed : last year, a Basque activist allegedly involved in this procedure was arrested.
The trial regarding the brief “bomb attacks 1993-2000” is said to be due for February 2004. This brief includes the magical, tragic and still very mysterious “affair of Quévert”, which will be a pretext to inflict especially heavy sentences. We should expect this and therefore get prepared for it.
This is why we shall demonstrate here again next year, and the year after, and in five years to demand the release of Breton political prisoners.
